What Members Can Do to Help Protect Your Information
While Ewa FCU is committed to protecting the privacy of its members, members can help by following these simple guidelines:
Protect your account numbers, plastic card numbers, personal identification numbers (PINs) or passwords. Never keep your PIN with your card, which can provide free access to your account if your card is lost or stolen.
Use EXTREME caution when giving out your account numbers, social security numbers, etc. to other people. If someone calls you saying they are from the credit union and asks to verify your account number, you should beware. Official credit union staff will have access to your information and will not need to ask for it.
Keep your Ewa FCU account information current at all times. If we detect potentially fraudulent or unauthorized activity on your account, we will attempt to contact you immediately. If your account information is inaccurate, incomplete, or not current, you can update it through our Online Banking Service (you must be registered) by selecting "Account Settings" and updating the appropriate information.
